Kyle Busch dominates to win the Ecosave 200 at Dover
DOVER, Del. — Kyle Busch shows exactly why he is the best NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver of all-time as he wins the Ecosave 200 at Dover Motor Speedway in dominating fashion.
This is his 69th all-time Truck Series win and his fifth Dover truck win. He now has an astonishing 13 overall wins at the track.

Dominant was the only way to describe his performance today. Busch qualified on pole and set a new track series record in the process.
He then led the first stage wire to wire and passed Cole Butcher for the stage win. From there, he dominated by accomplishing the same in the second stage for the sweep.
He was briefly passed by fellow Cup Series regular Ross Chastain after he won the race off pit road but that did not contain Busch for too long.
On the primary strategy, Busch eventually made it past Chastain who was on older tires and less fuel. He never looked back as the field stayed green to the finish.
Ty Majeski completed the qualifying to race result front row lockout. He earned a much needed second-place after his solid day.
Layne Riggs and crew worked on his truck the whole day to finish third. They started outside the top ten but kept crawling forward each run.
Last week’s winner Kaden Honeycutt rebounded from a pit road speeding penalty to finish fourth. At the halfway point of the regular season, he maintained his points lead.
Christopher Bell rounded out the top five where he started in fifth and Brandon Jones also start where he finished in sixth.
Christian Eckes finished seventh. Followed by Corey LaJoie’s highest result in a RAM in eighth.
Jake Garcia claimed another top ten this season in ninth and so did Justin Haley in tenth.
Notable Results

Ross Chastain took the lead to begin the final stage after he won the proceeding race off pit road. Only twenty laps into the run, Mini Tyrrell brought out the caution which split strategies and Chastain chose to stay out.
His choice to stay out laid his bed and he had to pit for fuel with 22 laps remaining. What was a chance at the win deflated a good day to 18th-placed finish.
Clint Bowyer ran as the “Free Agent” in the Kaulig No. 25. He ran on the lead lap until around 50 laps to go. He had a top-20 run going before a bent steering column ended his day. He finished 18 laps down in 29th.
Daniel Hemric suffered a fuel-pickup issue early in the event. He clawed back to finish 30th, 23 laps down. A disappointing result given his streak of back-to-back top ten runs comes to an end.
Dystany Spurlock ran as high as 32nd before her solo spin ruined her day. Her historic start came to an end with 5 laps remaining in the first stage to finish 36th and last.
