Landon Cassill to run two races for GBR

Gaunt Brothers Racing announced Monday that Landon Cassill will drive their No. 96 Toyota Camry in two NASCAR Cup Series races this season.

Cassill will drive the No. 96 in this weekend’s Coke Zero Sugar 400 and at Talladega in October. Carnomaly will serve as the primary sponsor.

Gaunt Brothers Racing has made four starts with Ty Dillon and one start, at Talladega, with Harrison Burton.

Dillon netted the team’s best finish, 19th, at the Daytona road course.

Cassill’s most recent NASCAR Cup Series start was with StarCom Racing in the November 2019 Ford EcoBoost 400 at Homestead. 2019 was his most recent full-time Cup season.
