NASCAR at Homestead 2026: Weather outlook
This weekend, all three NASCAR national touring series wrap up their seasons and crown champions at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
High temperatures for each of the race days – Friday, Saturday, and Sunday – call for mid 80s with lows in the low 70s each night, according to the National Weather Service.
At the time of publication, the NWS calls for Friday night to be a “mostly clear” night with “light and variable wind.” The Truck Series Championship Race is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET.
On Saturday, the NWS says the day should be “sunny with a high near 85.” The night calls for a “20 percent chance of showers” with calm wind and a low about 72.
The NOAPS Championship Race is scheduled for 5 p.m. ET.
On Sunday, the NWS is saying the day has “a slight chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 1 p.m.”
The NWS says the daytime high is 83 with the chance of precipitation at 20 percent.
The Cup Series Championship race is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET.
Into Sunday night, the NWS puts the chances of showers and thunderstorms at 20 percent.
