NASCAR Championship Odds: Las Vegas 2026
The NASCAR Cup Series and the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series heads west to Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the halfway mark of the Chase.
Previously in the Chase, the O’Reilly Series had their lone off-weekend while Kyle Larson extended his championship lead after a perfect-point day in Kansas.
Cup Series Chase Standings
The Hollywood Casino 400 provided the largest gap between the Chase leader and second place so far in the postseason.
Kyle Larson flat out dominated the day. He started second and won both stages in his perfect 76-point day which saw a 25-point addition to his lead over Denny Hamlin.
Hamlin, who is now tied with Larson for the most victories at the speedway with four, had a solid day. But, solid day’s are nowhere near perfect like his championship counterpart as he sees title hopes continue to get dimmer.
The top four in the standings remain the same with the first bit of movement from fifth. Ryan Blaney finally snapped out of his cold streak with a top-five finish from Kansas which was good enough to regain a position in the standings.
Blaney was not the only driver to recover from a recent slump. Chase Briscoe also delivered a top-five performance from fourth. He nearly won the race as he was the only person to pass Larson on track all event long but his tires did not hold in the end.
Carson Hocevar fell outside the top ten to 11th in points after his near-DNF day.
The rest of the Chase drivers outside the top ten fell further behind and Vegas believes their championship odds did too.

O’Reilly Series Chase Standings
Sheldon Creed found victory lane for the second time this season and for the second time in his O’Reilly Series career at Bristol.
Even with the victory, the gap between him and Justin Allgaier remained the same. Now, Allgaier will travel to one of his better intermediate tracks on the calendar in Las Vegas as the continued favorite to win the title despite his Chase position.
Carson Kvapil and defending O’Reilly Series champion Jesse Love remain within touching distance of the lead. Sam Mayer appears to be on his own island just over a single-race distance behind Creed.
Then, Corey Day and Sammy Smith are tied on points after the third mark of the Chase at a 92-point deficit to the lead.
Taylor Gray continued to climb in the standings after Bristol. Despite the progress, he remains over 100 points behind the Chase lead in eighth.
After Gray the next three Chase drivers look to be battling amongst themselves rather than fight for the championship.
Finally at 164 points behind, Rajah Caruth has been written completely out of the championship and the Vegas odds reflect that below.
