NASCAR: Daniel Suarez, Spire Motorsports agree to extension
Spire Motorsports and Daniel Suarez have agreed to an extension into 2027, keeping Suarez with the NASCAR Cup Series organization for a second year.

Spire announced on social media Tuesday, Oct. 13, “we’ve signed Daniel Suarez to an extension for the 2027 season.”
Suarez qualified for the Chase this year, his first post-season berth since 2024.
Suarez has amassed one victory (the Coke 600 in May), 3 Top-5 finishes and 7 Top-10 finishes through the first 32 races of the year. He is currently ranked 14th in points.
Suarez was announced as the driver of the No. 7 last October, replacing Justin Haley.
