NASCAR Championship Odds: Phoenix 2026

Here are the updated Chase standings and odds for all three NASCAR series’ as they head out West for the final time at Phoenix Raceway.

Last weekend at Charlotte, it was nearly Déjà Vu.

Chase Briscoe and Corey Day each earned back-to-back Chase wins at intermediates and firmly reinserted themselves into the championship conversation in their respective series.

Then, Layne Riggs redeemed himself by successfully defending his spring win with his return to victory lane last Friday at Charlotte.

Now, for the first time since 2020, Phoenix Raceway will host a fall race outside the championship slot.

While Chase Briscoe became the first driver since his Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Denny Hamlin to deliver consecutive series wins, Kyle Larson increased his Chase lead.

Despite finishing sixth, Larson added nine points to his advantage. That modest cushion is reflected in a slight improvement in his championship odds.

Unsurprisingly, Briscoe climbed to the fourth-best odds, matching his rise in the Chase standings. His JGR teammates remain ahead of him in both categories after each secured a top-five finish in Charlotte.

Ryan Blaney leads the Ford contingent in both the standings and championship odds. He returns to Phoenix as the defending winner of both the spring and fall races which could put the former champion back in the fight.

Meanwhile, teammate Joey Logano has slipped to the sixth-best championship odds. From the final Team Penske driver, Austin Cindric, onward, the path to a title grows increasingly difficult.

While no driver is mathematically unable to win this years title, the chances of someone outside of the top ten to win are very low.

Those low odds as well as the updated favorites up top are below.

O’Reilly Series Chase Standings

The NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series Chase is the tightest in all of NASCAR before Charlotte. Now, it’s even tighter heading out West for the final time this season.

Outgoing Haas Factory Team driver Sheldon Creed maintained the Chase lead he has held since Gateway with a top-five finish. However, his two-point advantage means little with just four races remaining.

Amid a recent downturn in form and a schedule that favors several of his competitors, Creed is no longer the odds-on favorite to win the championship.

That distinction now belongs to defending O’Reilly Series champion Jesse Love.

Love enters the weekend as the defending Phoenix race winner and boasts the series’ strongest points totals on intermediate tracks, boosting his championship odds to the top of the field.

Justin Allgaier cut his deficit to the Chase leader in half but remains fourth in the standings. The former series champion holds the second-best championship odds, backed by former victories at every remaining Chase venue where he could make his move back to the top.

Meanwhile, Corey Day has surged into the title fight with an 85-point swing over the past two races. He now sits just seven points behind the leader and is tied with Creed for the third-best championship odds.

Carson Kvapil endured a difficult weekend in his home state of North Carolina, slipping from second to fifth in the standings. Still, he remains within striking distance of the Chase lead, a position reflected in his championship odds.

Sam Mayer also remains within reach despite a costly late-race collapse. A poor performance in the final 10-lap shootout sent him tumbling from a potential top-10 finish to 24th.

Beyond Mayer, the remaining six Chase drivers have seen their championship hopes deteriorate significantly. Whether due to poor performances, declining momentum or bad luck, they face an increasingly difficult path to the title with four races left.

Truck Series Chase Standings

Graphic: Ryan Kemna/TRE

With four races remaining, the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Chase is shaping up to be a two-driver fight for the championship.

Kaden Honeycutt remains atop the standings, but his biggest postseason rival, Layne Riggs, is closing in. Riggs returned to Victory Lane at Charlotte for his series-best seventh win of the season. His first Chase victory cut Honeycutt’s lead to 17 points, helping him rebound from a disappointing outing at Kansas.

The championship odds remain nearly even, though Vegas gives Honeycutt a slight edge thanks to his narrow advantage in the standings.

While Honeycutt and Riggs appear poised to decide the championship at Homestead-Miami, two other drivers remain within striking distance.

Riggs’ Front Row Motorsports teammate Chandler Smith sits third, less than a full race’s worth of points behind the lead. Christian Eckes has reclaimed the fourth seed and trails Smith by roughly 10 points, keeping his outside title hopes alive.

Although oddsmakers have kept the remaining eight contenders relatively close to the two favorites, the relative momentum and Chase standings tell a different story.

Honeycutt and Riggs have begun to separate themselves from the field, setting up what could become a mathematical two-driver battle well before the finale.

The pair will resume their postseason showdown at Phoenix this weekend, entering the fourth round of a championship fight that could stretch all the way to the final lap at Homestead-Miami Speedway before reaching its conclusion.
