NASCAR delays Sunday racing due to rain
CHICAGO — While the Windy City remains pooled with rain and severe weather Sunday, NASCAR delayed the Xfinity and Cup races.
The NASCAR Xfinity Series race was set to restart at around 11 a.m. ET. Meanwhile, the Cup Series race was set to start at 5 p.m. ET.

“Due to the threat of severe weather this morning, the opening of gates to the Chicago Street Race will be delayed. NASCAR will provide timing updates as they are available for today’s schedule of events.”
