VIDEO: Australian Supercars champ Shane van Gisbergen on first laps in NASCAR Cup Series

CHICAGO — In his first laps in a NASCAR Cup Series car, Shane van Gisbergen was among the fastest in practice & qualifying at the Chicago Street Course.

The Australian Supercars champion, often known as SVG for short, qualified third for Sunday’s Grant Park 220. He was also fastest in practice.

SVG talked with us about his first experiences in the Cup Series car.
