NASCAR to further inspect multiple cars after Coca-Cola 600

CONCORD, N.C. — Tech is clear in the NASCAR Cup Series garage and officials will further inspect six cars after the Coca-Cola 600.
NASCAR says officials will tear down Chase Briscoe and Justin Haley’s cars at the R&D Center. They will also put them on the engine dyno.

Martin Truex Jr. and Alex Bowman’s cars will also go on the engine dyno at the R&D Center.

Zane Smith and Erik Jones’ car will also go to NASCAR’s wind tunnel.

Of the drivers whose cars will be inspected by officials, Truex finished the best, in third.
Smith finished 10th, Bowman finished 12th, Haley finished 15th, Briscoe finished 20th and Jones finished 32nd.
Jones was the only driver who didn’t finish on the lead lap. He finished 59 laps down after his team repaired a busted radiator in the garage.
