NASCAR Xfinity driver indefinitely suspended after arrest
ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. – NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Carson Ware was indefinitely suspended by the sanctioning body after being arrested on assault charges.
The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office listed Ware under recent arrests. He is accused of assaulting a female and faces two misdemeanor assault charges and and an injury to personal property charge, according to FOX Sports’ Bob Pockrass.
SS-Greenlight Racing announced Ware was indefinitely suspended from the team, which was supported by Rick Ware Racing.
Ware has made nine NXS starts with a best finish of 20th at Pocono in June 2020 with Rick Ware Racing. He also has one career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start and one ARCA Menards Series start.
