After the tough month it has been for Richard Childress Racing, finally they were thrown a bone.

Love is joined by teammate Austin Hill on the front row as the team locks out the top two spots thanks to the NASCAR Metric.

Corey Day and Carson Kvapil comprise the second row. Then William Sawalich leads the Toyota’s from fifth alongside the two-time Cup Series champ, Kyle Larson, in sixth as he jumps back into the JR Motorsports No. 88 again.

Ryan Sieg will start a strong seventh while Sammy Smith joins him in eighth.

Parker Retzlaff continues his fantastic momentum with Viking Motorsports in ninth. Finally, off the back of Cole Custers strong performance at Charlotte, Garrett Smithley will start tenth.

Amazingly, he will make his first career top ten start in the series in what will be his 215th race.

The NASCAR Metric has also set a surprising sixth row. Mason Maggio and Anthony Alfredo will lineup alongside each other.

Many Chase contenders will start deep in the field as well. Justin Allgaier will start 17th on his favorite track surface of concrete.

Sheldon Creed, Rajah Caruth, Taylor Gray, and Brandon Jones all start towards the rear. Then, Brent Crews and Sam Mayer are the furthest back of the contenders as they comprise the 17th row.

Other notable entries include, Leland Honeyman Jr who will start 15th in the DGM Racing No. 92.

Finally, Cleetus McFarland returns to RCR’s No. 33 entry this weekend.

He will start from 38th and last after the session rained-out as RCR has the pole and the complete opposite of the position. Thankfully, he and the team did not have to worry about being sent home. All 38 entrants will make the race.
