Sam Mayer sits atop the board as he wins O’Reilly Series pole at Atlanta
HAMPTON, Ga. — Sam Mayer will start from the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series pole in the Focused Health 250 at EchoPark Speedway in Atlanta.
This is his third pole of the season and his seventh of his career.

With the pole, Mayer officially sweeps the O’Reilly Series poles at EchoPark Speedway this season.
He will look to join his teammate, Sheldon Creed, in the win column at the speedway later today.
Carson Kvapil will start alongside Mayer on the front row. The pairing were the only two to crack the sub 32 second times in the session.
Jesse Love continued to showcase the ECR engine power and will start third while William Sawalich joined him in the second row from fourth as the highest starting Toyota.
Sammy Smith will start from fifth Then, defending 2026 Atlanta winner Sheldon Creed will look to back up his first career series win from sixth.
Brent Crews and Rajah Caruth comprise the fourth row. Finally, Taylor Gray and Patrick Staropoli round out the top ten from the fifth row.
Notable Entrants
The series’ superspeedway ace, Austin Hill, opted for handling over single-lap speed. The ever dangerous Hill will start just outside the top ten from 11th.
The regular series point leader will start in 16th. Then, Justin Allgaier will have a new teammate this weekend as Jake Finch starts alongside him in the eighth row from 15th.
Carson Ware returned to the newly renumbered MHR No. 47 with a bumpy moment in the session. He spun in the middle of the corner but kept his car clean and will start 36th.
Jordan Anderson Racing had a morning to forget. Blaine Perkins suffered a mechanical fault during his qualifying attempt. He was able to finish his lap but will start in the rear.
His boss and teammate for the weekend, Jordan Anderson, failed to attempt a lap in the session after a mechanical fault himself. Thankfully for him, all 38 entrants will start the event.
