Layne Riggs wins the pole for Trucks at Lime Rock

SALISBURY, Conn. — Layne Riggs, or in this case “Layne Van Riggsbergen” wins the pole for today’s LiUNA 150! at Lime Rock Park.

Riggs gets his second pole, and his first by merit, of the 2026 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season with a fastest time of 53.683 seconds and 99.115 miles per hour.

This is his first career pole on a road course for his fifth career pole overall. Front Row Motorsports also achieved their first pole on a road course in the series as well.

Riggs finished second in the inaugural race last year to Corey Heim and even led one lap.

Now, without the threat of Heim, he looks primed to continue his winning ways on road courses this season later today. If he gets it done, he will extend his points lead and score his fifth win of the season and his third on the track type.

Connor Mosack will start outside pole of Riggs for his first front row start of the season.

33 trucks will start today’s race. Colin Braun did not take a timed lap due to a broken axle.
