Ty Majeski wins Truck Series pole at Michigan
BROOKLYN, Mich. — Ty Majeski puts his Thorsport Racing NASCAR Craftsman Truck series truck on pole for the DQS Solutions and Staffing 250 at Michigan International Speedway.
This is the 13th career pole for Majeski and his second pole of the season.

While Majeski remains winless so far after his move across the shop floor to the No. 88 he surely hasn’t lacked speed.
Michigan is already a tough track in the current Truck Series package as it acts like an intermediate in the corners with the speed and drafting of a superspeedway on the straights.
His competition today is no slouch either. NASCAR Cup Series regular, and the Truck Series Bristol winner, Christopher Bell will start alongside Majeski on the front row.
Front Row Motorsports locked out the second row. Chandler Smith edged his teammate Layne Riggs for third.
Riggs enters Michigan as the winner of the previous two races in the series and despite his minimal participation in the lone practice session, he looks primed to make it three straight wins.
Then, Spire Motorsports locked out the third row. Connor Mosack makes his second appearance on an oval in the No. 7. His first since Darlington. Then, Cup Series rising star, Carson Hocevar, comes down once more to race alongside his buddy Cleetus.
Cole Butcher continues his good qualifying performances. The rookie of the year contender will start seventh in his Michigan debut.
Yesterdays ARCA winner, Gio Ruggiero, is the highest starting Tricon Garage entry from eighth.
Jake Garcia will start ninth while Spencer Davis makes his NASCAR and series return alongside him from tenth.
Notable Entries
Stewart Friesen starts 12th in his bid to defend his win as the previous trucker to go to victory lane here.
Ross Chastain and Ricky Stenhouse Jr make their returns to Niece Motorsports once again. Chastain will start in 15th while Stenhouse lines up two rows behind him in 19th.
Niece Motorsports will also field Cleetus McFarland. He will make his second career series start from 29th.
Newly announced Cup Series full-time driver for 23XI Racing, Corey Heim, is back for more. He starts further back than he is used to in the series from 23rd but that will not hold him back for too long.
Parker Kligerman will start 25th. He will use his first NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series weekend off from the booth to go trucking later today.
