All-time NASCAR All-Star Race winners
This weekend, the NASCAR Cup Series hosts the 42nd installment of the NASCAR All-Star race.
The race will be hosted for the first time at Dover Motor Speedway.
HISTORY
The All-Star Race was first run in 1985 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, won by Darrell Waltrip.
The second installment of the race was in 1986 at Atlanta Motor Speedway, where Bill Elliott claimed victory.
From there, Charlotte hosted the All-Star event again in 1987 through 2019.
Dale Earnhardt was the first driver to win multiple All-Star races, winning in 1987 and 1989.
Bristol Motor Speedway hosted the race in 2020, where Chase Elliott scored the win.
Texas Motor Speedway hosted the race in 2021 and 2022, won by Kyle Larson and Ryan Blaney respectively.
North Wilkesboro Speedway hosted the next three races from 2023 to 2025.
In total, 27 drivers have won the All-Star Race.
Jimmie Johnson is the all-time leader of wins in the event (2003, 2006, 2012, and 2013).

From Grants, New Mexico, USA, Aragon started watching NASCAR in 2004 and has been covering the sport since 2009. Aragon is a 2012 graduate of Grants High School and a May 2016 graduate of the University of New Mexico with a B.A. in Mass Communications & Journalism.
