Josh Berry to start Phoenix race with repaired car
AVONDALE, ARIZ. — Josh Berry will start the NASCAR Cup Series race Sunday at Phoenix Raceway with a repaired car after a crash in qualifying.
Berry clipped the apron in the middle of turns three and four. He spun and nudged the front end of his car into the wall.
Berry drove back to the garage area where the team assessed the damage. They pulled parts out of the bin and began working.

The team worked on the car throughout the NASCAR Xfinity Series race. By the end of it, the team had it ready in the garage stall and set to grid Sunday.
Berry will start 36th — last — anyways as he crashed before he could fully complete a lap.
