Kyle Larson ranks All-Star win

Kyle Larson captured his second NASCAR All-Star Race victory Sunday (June 13) at Texas Motor Speedway.

The win was Larson’s second in three years, and his third consecutive win in the NASCAR Cup Series when including points-awarding races.

“My emotions were really high for sure,” Larson said. “Gosh, as soon as I took the lead, my foot is wide open and I can feel it shaking.

“It obviously means a lot to win. But I don’t know where yet to rank it. It’s definitely up there. Purse-wise it’s in the top two now of purse races I’ve won.”

Larson is a nine-time points-awarding winner in the Cup Series, among two victories in the Chili Bowl Nationals.

“Really cool to win any crown jewel in any sport, but in NASCAR especially,” Larson said.
