NASCAR All-Star Race 2024: Odds, entry lists, TV times, formats and more
NASCAR All-Star Race weekend is back at North Wilkesboro Speedway for the second year in a row.


Practice for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series will kick off the weekend Friday at 3 p.m. (all times Eastern). Then, practice and qualifying for the NASCAR All-Star Race and Open entries will continue the festivities at 4:35 p.m.
All activities can be found on FS1, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, except for the heat races (FS2). Here is a look at the formats, entries, odds, times and more for each race:
NASCAR All-Star Race

- 200 laps (All laps count, overtime rules)
- Cautions – Laps 100, 150
- 8 p.m. Sunday
- Format info: 2024 NASCAR All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro Format
For the All-Star Race, teams will get two sets of prime tires and two sets of option tires. The lineup will be set with qualifying Friday night and two 60-lap heat races Saturday night. The first heat starts at 5:20 p.m. ET with the second heat to follow.

- Caution at lap 50 (all teams must make a four-tire pit stop)
- 5:30 p.m.
Last year, Josh Berry and Ty Gibbs raced their way into the All-Star Race while Noah Gragson won the Fan Vote. This year, they get a rematch.
They’re among the 20 drivers racing for three available spots — two for the highest finishers in the Open and one for the driver with the most votes in the Fan Vote who didn’t finish in the top-2.

A Twin Valley, MN, native, Fjeld became a motorsports fan at just three years old (first race was the 2002 Pennsylvania 500). He worked as a contributor and writer for TRE from 2010-18. Currently, he resides in Albuquerque, N.M., where he works for KOB 4, an NBC station. He works as a digital producer and does on-air reports. He loves spending time with friends and family, playing and listening to music, exploring new places, being outdoors, reading books and writing among other activities.
