Rodney Childers to miss Watkins Glen
Kevin Harvick’s crew chief Rodney Childers will miss the Watkins Glen race Sunday due to a family emergency.
Stephen Doran, a top engineer with the team, will serve as the interim crew chief.
Doran also served as crew chief for Harvick last year when Childers had a three-race suspension.
Childers has crew chiefed Harvick since 2014, earning 37 victories and the 2014 series championship.
