Sheldon Creed to make NASCAR Cup Series debut in September

Live Fast Motorsports will field a car for Sheldon Creed to make his NASCAR Cup Series debut in September at Kansas Speedway.
Creed will drive the organization’s No. 78 Whelen Chevrolet Camaro.
“I’m excited to race a Cup race for the first time as that’s been the dream for a long time. Whelen is a great company and I’m appreciative for their support in allowing us to do this with Live Fast Motorsports. We hope to have a good day at Kansas Speedway come September,” Creed said.
As a full-time driver in the Xfinity Series, he currently sits 10th in points with a 26-point cushion to the cutline.
His best Xfinity Series finish is second at Darlington last September, Martinsville last October and Talladega in April.
He moved up to the series after earning eight wins, 22 top-5 finishes and 35 top-10s in 68 Truck Series starts – plus the 2020 title.
Creed also won the 2018 ARCA Menards Series championship.
