Busch conquered the Tricky Triangle, the different aero package, and a trip through the field after a penalty to claim his 92nd career victory in the series, and his first of the 2018 season.
“We just needed to handle good and I needed to hit a good lap.”
The Friday practice for the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series was delayed due to rain and fog earlier in the morning.
In total, 15 drivers have won at least one stage since 2017. Martin Truex Jr. has won the most stages all-time (21), and Busch is second overall.
