5 NASCAR race winners in 2025 yet to visit Victory Lane in 2026
Entering the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway, five drivers who won races last year are still seeking their first victory of 2026.

Josh Berry, Ross Chastain, Austin Cindric, Austin Dillon, and Bubba Wallace remain winless entering this weekend at Homestead.

Cindric is the highest in points of the group, heading into the finale 11th in points, five points behind Chase Elliott 10th in points.
The Team Penske driver’s last win came at Talladega last April. Dating back to 2024, Cindric’s two-year streak of one win per season is in jeopardy.

Alongside Cindric, Wallace is the other Chase driver who won last year without a win. His last victory came at Indianapolis in July 2025.

Chastain, sitting 18th in points, has the longest streak of one win per season at four straight years. His last win was the 2025 Coca-Cola 600.

Berry’s last win was Las Vegas in March 2025; to date, his lone victory in the series. He is 22nd in points entering Homestead.

Dillon is ranked 24th in driver’s standings. The Richard Childress Racing driver has won the last two years at Richmond Raceway.
Collectively, 22 drivers who have attempted at least half the 2026 schedule are winless this year.
Since The Chase Started
From a numbers perspective, not all hope is lost for the winless drivers.
Since the start of the 2026 Chase, multiple drivers who won in 2025 ended their 2026 winless skids: Christopher Bell in the Chase opener at Darlington, Kyle Larson the next week at Gateway, and most recently William Byron at Martinsville.
The 2026 NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 8, and 3 p.m. ET.
