NASCAR at Richmond: Odds, prop bets, lineups, results and more
NASCAR’s top two national series will head to Richmond Raceway for a special holiday weekend of racing.
For the first time since 2019, the spring NASCAR Cup Series race at Richmond will run under the lights. In general, it’s been since September 2021 that a Cup Series race at Richmond has happened at night.

Meanwhile, the Xfinity Series will run early Saturday, freeing up Saturday night and Sunday afternoon for families to enjoy Easter with each other.
NASCAR Cup Series Toyota Owners 400 at Richmond

- 7 p.m. (all times Eastern) Sunday
- FOX, MRN, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90
- 400 laps (Stages end on 70/230/400)
- Practice and Qualifying: 8:30 a.m. Saturday (FS1, MRN, SiriusXM NASCAR)
Ty Dillon will make his first start in the No. 16 Kaulig Racing Chevrolet. Meanwhile, Kaz Grala remains in the No. 15 Rick Ware Racing Ford.
This weekend will mark the 14th time the NASCAR Cup Series has raced on Easter Sunday. It’s the second NASCAR race at Richmond on this holiday.
Heading into the weekend, Martin Truex Jr. has a five-point lead over teammate Ty Gibbs. Brad Keselowski is holding on to the final playoff spot by three points over Chase Briscoe and five over Bubba Wallace.

Toyota Owners 400 Odds-On Favorites
BetVirginia acquired the odds from DraftKings for TRE. It appears the oddsmakers love Toyota, RFK Racing, Hendrick Motorsports and ol’ Rowdy:
- Denny Hamlin, Christopher Bell +425
- Martin Truex Jr +600
- Ty Gibbs +850
- Kyle Larson +900
- William Byron, Chris Buescher +1100
- Brad Keselowski +1300
- Tyler Reddick, Ryan Blaney, Kyle Busch +1500
Busch leads the pack with six wins, followed by Hamlin (4), Truex (3), Keselowski (2), Larson (2) and Buescher (1). Larson and Buescher won in 2023.
At +2200, two-time Richmond winner Joey Logano is the only multi-time winner missing. Logano finished 11th at COTA for just his second top-20 finish of 2024.
Even more glaring, but good for you if you bet, is April 2021 Richmond winner Alex Bowman is at +5000. Bowman is coming off of back-to-back fourth-place finishes and looks strong.

With how well Toyota is performing, Bubba Wallace (+3500), John Hunter Nemechek (+10000) and Erik Jones (+10000) could be worth a look.
Wallace led 80 of 400 laps the last time the Cup Series visited Richmond. Jones and Nemechek have also shown potential on the shorter tracks this year.

- Josh Berry (-130) vs. Austin Dillon (+100)
- Martin Truex Jr. (-135) vs. Ty Gibbs (-105)
- William Byron (+115) vs. Denny Hamlin (-150)
- Chase Elliott (-165) vs. Alex Bowman (+125)
NASCAR Xfinity Series ToyotaCare 250 at Richmond

- 1:30 p.m. Saturday
- FS1, MRN, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90
- 250 laps (Stages end on laps: 75/150/250)
- Practice and Qualifying: 10:30 a.m. FS1
At Richmond, Matt DiBenedetto will race in NASCAR for the first time in six months. DiBenedetto will race for the new Viking Motorsports’ No. 38 Ford.
Richmond is also the venue of Bubba Pollard’s NASCAR debut Saturday. The short-track ace will race the No. 88 Rheem Chevrolet for JR Motorsports.

Joe Gibbs Racing has Taylor Gray in one of their Xfinity Series cars for the first time this season. Gray will race the No. 19 Toyota while Aric Almirola will race the JGR No. 20 Toyota.
Fellow Toyota team Sam Hunt Racing has Corey Heim in its No. 26 car.
Dawson Cram is back in the JD Motorsports No. 4 Chevrolet after Patrick Gallagher drove it last week at COTA. JD Motorsports hasn’t confirmed who will drive the other entry – the No. 6 Chevrolet.
Jordan Anderson Racing hasn’t named who will drive its No. 32 entry, neither has the part-time No. 66 MBM entry.

Last weekend, when Peterson Racing Group withdrew, they teamed up with JAR and entered the race through their No. 32 entry. With a similar lack of owner points and the possibility of missing the race, MBM could team up with JAR this weekend. That remains to be seen.
Josh Bilicki is back in the No. 92 DGM Racing entry while Patrick Emerling is back in the No. 07 SS-Green Light Racing entry. His teammate in the No. 14 is TBA.
ToyotaCare 250 Odds and Prop Bets
- Chandler Smith: +300 to win, -145 for top-3 finish, -250 for top-5
- Justin Allgaier: +425, +100, -175
- Cole Custer: +500, +140, -160
- Aric Almirola: +650, +200, +100
- Sheldon Creed: +900, +250, +110
- A.J. Allmendinger: +1300, +350, +160
- Riley Herbst, Jesse Love: +1400, +400, +175
- Austin Hill: +1400, +400, +180
- Sam Mayer: +1600, +450, +225
Not far off of being among the top-10 favorites are Xfinity Series debutantes Taylor Gray (+1800, +425, +200) and Bubba Pollard (+2200, +600, +275).
Matt DiBenedetto sits at +8000, +1600 and +800 in his return to NASCAR. Shane van Gisbergen and Ryan Sieg are each at +10000, +2200 and +1000. If you’re looking for a solid bet, you may want to bet on one of them getting a top-10.
Josh Williams, who is looking to rebound from a rough start to the season, is at +25000 to win, +6000 for a top-5 and +2200 for a top-10.
Here are the prop bets for the weekend:
- Taylor Gray (+105) vs. Sam Mayer (-140)
- Justin Allgaier (-120) vs. Cole Custer (-110)
- Aric Almirola (-135) vs. Sheldon Creed (+100)
- Chandler Smith (-135) vs. Justin Allgaier (+100)
- A.J. Allmendinger (-120) vs. Riley Herbst (-110)
- Jesse Love (-115) vs. Austin Hill (-115)
Betting on Allgaier against Smith may be your best way to go. While Smith is the defending winner of this race, Allgaier leads the field in wins (2), top-5 finishes (3), laps led (215) and average finish (6.6) in the five Xfinity Series races at Richmond since the turn of the decade.
